ITC finally moves and Nifty sets another record!

The Nifty initially looked like it was consolidating but after the first hour, it went on a bullish spree taking the charts to another record high finally closing at 17629.

On the daily chart, Nifty continues to make a bullish candle, indicating more power in the bulls!

The FIIs bought again for Rs. 1621.88 crores, while the DIIs booked profit by selling to the tune of Rs. 795.13 crores.

Sector Watch:

It was majorly the very powerful PSU banks led by SBI, Private banks, FMCG led by ITC, that helped the Nifty rally to the record high today.

Top Gainers:

Our favourite IndusInd bank, ITC & SBIN led the day for Nifty today.

Top Losers:

Profit booking was seen in Grasim, Bharti Airtel, TCS today after their splendid rally in past few days.
